In order to qualify for this visa, an applicant must hold a job offer of a position listed in the Long-Term Skill Shortage List.  They must meet all the requirements and be adequately qualified and experienced as defined in the list.

Apart from the above, the applicant must also meet the age, health and character requirements. For some occupations, applicants may need to meet the occupational registration requirements as well.
