Partnership Visa
What We Do
Partnership Based Work & Visitor Visas
In order to qualify for a partnership- based work or a visitor visa, an applicant is required to meet identity, health, character and the definition of partnership as per INZ’s requirements.
Most couples who are in a genuine and stable relationship, living together for 12 months and more may be eligible for this type of visa.
Although this may seem easy at first, it is one of the applications that needs an applicant to disclose personal information and present in a manner that INZ is able to establish that your reasons for travel are genuine and most importantly that the relationship you and your partner/spouse have meets the definition of partnership as per immigration instructions.
Newly-weds or couples not living together or may face challenges with this type of application and one must not assume that because they are married or have lived together that INZ will approve the application. If the evidence supplied in support of the application does not satisfy or mitigate the concerns of a visa officer, this application may be declined. There are other complex factors that also need to be taken into consideration for example, previous marriages, dependents from previous marriages, previous relationships etc.
We can advise you on your options depending on your situation for the best possible outcome.
