Work to Residence Visa: Talent Accredited Employer
An Accredited Employer is an organization or a company that has been approved an accreditation by Immigration New Zealand. These employers have clearly established that they are financially stable, have a clear business record along with the required policies and procedures in place that are compliant with immigration instructions.
In order to qualify for this visa, an applicant must hold a job offer from an accredited employer. The job offered must meet the minimum annual salary requirements as per INZ policies. The current annual remuneration is set at NZ$79,560 (before tax).
Apart from the above, the applicant must also meet the age, health and character requirements. For some occupations, applicants may need to meet the occupational registration requirements as well.
Once an employee has completed two years of working for an Accredited employer on a Talent Accredited Employer work visa for two years they become eligible to apply for residence, therefore this visa is titled Work to Residence Visa. Depending on your profession, you may require to provide evidence of occupational registration. You can also include your partner and dependents in this application for residence. They should meet the requirements of being in a genuine, stable and credible relationship with you. Your family members will also need to meet the English language requirements as per the policy. You and your family will also need to be of good health and character as per the requirements.
